Q: Is it true that wearing converses or flats give you flat feet?
Not exactly. They reduce the arch in your feet if you wear them for extended periods of time exclusively. If you only wear one type of shoe, the others will begin to feel unusual and uncomfortable.
If you want to make sure you still have a good arch in your foot, purchase insoles with arch support in them, or just make sure to pick already arched shoes. If you plan on wearing flats a lot, but want to still be able to wear heels, try to wear the heels a few hours a week(even just around the house) so that your feet won't totally reject them.
I have the opposite problem- I've exclusively worn heels for so long that flats hurt my feet and give me backaches!!

Thanks for the advice :)

I give okay advice, but I won't bullshit to you. If I don't know, I'll tell you straight up. I'm NOT going to sugarcoat answers, and if you rate me down, whatevs. WHO CARES. I'm not here to be the most popular collumnist. I'm here to give advice.
