Q: i have to pack my lunch every day this month because i forgot to fill out my lunch order form and im so tired of basic peanut butter sandwiches!! i dont like lots of flavors cause when it comes to food im pretty simple but i was wondering what are some fun, healthy, tasty, and easy things for me to make for lunch? i have acess to a microwave at school too. thanks so much!!! :)
I have this problem too! I like taking things like peanut butter or tuna sandwiches, but they get boring.
You could try:
-Taco salad: bring the lettuce, cheese, tomatoes ect. and put some tortilla chips in a baggie. Put some taco meat in a tupperward container and mix it all up- very easy.
-Many companies make pasta bowls for lunches. These can get expensive however; if you cook your own pasta at home, you can get four or five lunches for the same price as one or two pasta bowls.
-You can pack breakfast food such as bagels already toasted, with cream cheese or whatever you like seperately.
-Leftover food from the night before can usually be made over into something else; chicken can be cut up and thrown on a salad, put on some noodles or put on a sandwich, and similar things with other foods.
-I love soup, but its difficult to pack unless you have a thermos. Here's my solution- soup mixes. Heat up some hot water at school, and mix the soup together. You can also purchase soups in cups, but again, these can get expensive.
-Ramen noodles come in single serve cups; if you purchase them at Walmart, you can buy them for around a dollar apiece, with enough noodles to consititute a meal.

If you'd like more ideas, say so in your feedback... I just left off here for now.

**THE LATER ADDITIONS**
-Since you said soup doesn't fill you up, what about trying something heavier? A lot of the time, people ignore soups because they're thin or whatever, but soups that are more like stews(soup with very little broth, and lots of food) are very filling. Try taking a little bit of chicken broth over noodles with leftover chicken and veggies.
-While I'm on the subject of "filling", I want to make the statement. Protein(meats, nuts, fish) will fill you up. Carbs(breads, noodles, cereal) will give you energy. Vegetables are for vitamins. So therefore- if you're looking for FILLING, eat more peanut butter, chicken, hamburger, lunch meat, ect. If you're finding yourself full but listless, consider subbing some of the meat for cereal ect.
-If you're getting bored with the same old sandwiches, try packing the same spreads on different breads. For instance- boring old PB&J. Its good on freezer waffles, bagels, toast, sponge cake, graham crackers, inside banana slice-sandwiches, on apples, ect.
-I just thought of this, but what about Hot Pockets? If you're thinking they're too expensive(which they can be) consider this option. Take some shredded cheese, and small cut-up pieces of meat(cooked hamburger, ham, chicken, sausage) and maybe a little sauce(spaghetti, alfredo, ect.) and put it all between two slices of a thick bread(French works well.)
-Personally, I dislike hot-dogs. However, lots of people like them, and they can be fixed lots of ways. Cut up in mac-n-cheese, on a bun, ect. ect. ect. Yay Hot Dogs!
-Grilled cheese sandwiches are good- the only problem is keeping them crisp. The only way I know is to keep them wrapped in a paper towel inside their bag. That way they don't get soggy.

ya those were great and i would love more if you have some! :) thanks soo much! soup doesnt seem to fill me tho-any suggestions? thanks!!!
