im an 18/f my bf is 19/m. i have been with my bf for almost 2 years. we have had our rough times, and i dont feel he is committed to me. he hasnt cheated to my knowledge, but we havent been together for more than 8 months straight without being on a break.
tonight i took his phone and looked through his facebook messages. was it invasive? yes it was. but i feel i have the right to know considering his past of flirting with girls online, hooking up with girls during our breaks from going out, etc.
in his messages i saw him encouraging girls to cheat. the girls see hes in a relationship, and they say no, but i am so hurt by this. i really think one day he will cheat on me..im so lost, i love him but i dont want to get hurt. he has promised me before he would stop but he hasnt! he lied to me also. he told me he stopped talking to this one girl, but they havent stopped. he wants to meet up with this girl! he doesnt drive, neither does his mom, and i just feel if he did drive he would dump me or cheat on me. any experiences like this? any advice? thank you
ohhhhhhhhhh really by reading your story so similr to mine, i lasted 2 years and a half with by bf on and off lal the time, and he flirt with girlf online and i got too jealouse and told me he will stop and he didn't!!! and i found out becuase i sated looking into his msn and emails!! and i thought okay if the girl is the one flirting then i wont get mad at him..but no!! hes the one who starts!!! and then tell me he has nothing to do with it and he will stop talkign to them ohhh!! and then i found out he didn't deleted them and continue this beahavior and was so affraid and insecure thinking he will cheat on me all the time :S i decided to brake up with him ..cause think about this ...ok the first time ..but then ...he knows that bothers me and really makes me mad and he knows i dont like him doing this ...still he tells me he doesnt do it and he does!! he lies about "i dont know this girl 8-) " i dont flirt with them online anymore and he DOES ! ...soo....in my opinion if he cares enough about you and he knows that bothers you then he would stop that behavior ! its not like hyoour asking him to have no female friends or anything :S its something really simple just "DONT FLIRT WITH SOMEONE ELSE"and if he cant do that for you maybe he doesnt care enough as he says he does .. ..anyway I think you should brake up with him cause eventhough you love him so much its obvious he deonst the same way and think about it if it where you the one flirting with lots of people , then he will get very maad ...id say talk to him frist...and if this behavior doesnt stop,,,brake up ...i gave my boyfriend lots of chances and this was my mistake cause he NEVER changed and i was waiting for him to change lots of times ...the only thing he changed...was that he hide things better from me than before =( now he regrets it and its just begging me to come back but too late hope it works for you but usually people like this dont change believe me good luck =)
