Q: how do you take photos of like, say, the moon? is there a special type of film that lets you photograph in the dark? my camera doesnt have bulbs or anything..
actually, i disagree to the person below me.
if you want to take a picture of the moon, open up the aperature/f-stop. don't slow the shutter speed.
slowing the shutter speed will allow more light to reach the film, but it will also allow more room for error as far as a steady hand goes.
so only slow the shutter speed if you have a tripod or something to set the camera on.

mainly slowing the shutter speed if for action photography.

i would know, im a photo major at school.
so dont worry about it.
