About scootermclisle

Call me scooter. No, it isn't my real name, but I like the idea of having a secret name. Most of the people who have professional advice columns don't use their real names, so I don't see why I should either. I want to give the best advice possible, and I figure that the first way of becoming professional is to act professional. That isn't to say that I plan on growing up to be an advice columnist. Actually, I want to be a psychologist. But, this is as close as I'm going to get to that right about now. I'm also a very good writer, so I figure writing an advice column is a good way of getting my ideas out there. Please feel free to ask me any questions you like.

13/f ~ Much help needed

Ok, so my best guy friend and I have gotten together 2 days ago. He was always kinda shy even when we were just friends, but when we IM each other its like we can talk about anything, ever since we got together we have been talking for almost 3 hours, on AIM, but we don't seem to have that kind of convo in person. What kind of topic starters could we talk about in person.

Secondly,
He is shy but I want to hold his hand or hug him so much, (I am not really wanting to kiss him until we can have a good convo in person.) but I don't know if I should make the first move or if I should wait for him, should I say something about it on AIM, or not? Help please!

As far as the talking in person goes, don't worry about it. Just say whatever you feel like saying; let it come naturally. Don't plan out your conversations. Secondly, if you want to hold his hand or hug him, do it. Asking about it over AIM is okay too, but if you want to build up your relationship in person as opposed to over online, you should just go for it. Also, good choice about waiting to kiss him It's a much better idea to become friends before you start kissing; there's no need to rush things.

*EDIT* Talk to him about telling his parents, but as long as he eventually plans on telling his parents you are going out, don't worry about it. Go trick or treating with him and just see how things play out.

(Rating: 5) Thanks you helped a bunch, I have another question tho,
he wants me to go trick-or-treating over in his hood, and he didn't tell his parents we are going out, how do you think that will work? should I tell him to tell his parents about us?
