I'm a guy. My friend straightened my hair for me and I really liked it, so I tried to do it myself with my sister's straightener. I can't do it. My hair doesn't look super-straight when I straighten it. And I can't straighten the back of my head because I'm afraid of burning myself.

well as long as your using a small straightener you should be alright. Make sure to divide the hair up into small sections (no wider than and inch), run over each section 3 times fairly slowly to make it super straight...as for the back i suggest setting up a mirror so you can see where your going or ask your sister or someone to help you get the back right until your used to it enough to do it yourself
