Ok.....me and my boyfriend have been together for almost a year and a half. I try so hard to be the "perfect" girlfriend or whatever...but sometimes I think he doesn't even realize or appreciate anything I do. What should I do? (link)

Well, honestly, trying so hard to be the perfect girlfriend probably isn't the best idea. I mean, look at it this way: When you're trying so hard to be perfect, your boyfriend won't be able to get to know your imperfections. But that's not the answer to your question, right? I think your bf probably notices more than you think he does, it's just guys aren't the best at expressing their appreciation for the little things that you do, or even the big things. I'm almost positive he notices, though, because I thought my boyfriend never noticed the things I did for him, but the other day I got mad (lol) and said "Why don't you ever realize all these things I do to make you happy?" And he said "I do, I just never thought to thank you for them..." So, yeah. Maybe he just never realized he should thank you for doing the things you do for him. Hope I helped!
