I have tried the rubberband thing... it just became another type of self abuse... I had horrible welts, and they broke open and bled.
I'm not havign a problem hiding it, I just have to wear socks, and its covered. I was wearing bandaids, but it kept bleeding until I uncovered it and it scabbed.
