Q: So my friend and I are thinking about getting tattos, When she's eighteen and I'm seveteen. I know I'll need a legal guardian and thats not a problem.
But what are some good things to look for when finding a tatoo shop, and how much does it cost about, and the pain? I'm pretty good with pain, if you could compare it to something that'd be great. Thankss.

The pain depends on where it is... Also, it's difficult to compare it to anything because so many people have different experiences and when each person compares it to something else.
Most people say it's a kind of tingly, stingy pain though.
When looking for a tattooist, ask people you know who have tattoos for recommendations, and ALWAYS look at a tattooists previous work. You can always tell the quality of a tattoo by looking at it.
Also, when you visit to make an appointment, check how clean they are. If they don't appear to be REALLY clean (after all, they're putting a NEEDLE into you), just walk out of the door.
Price depends on size! Ask around for quotations, taking your design with you.
Good luck, I hope you find someone good. xxx

I'm 17, doing my second year of A levels now... I guess that I've seen or experienced most "teenage dramas" (urgh, patronising term) so whatever you want, just ask... I can be incredibly honest (to the point of bluntness) with my advice, but sometimes that's what people need...
Hope I can help! xxx
