Hi, I just got on AIM, and one of my friends that things have been real rocky with lately sent an offline IM that said just this:

******: [Offline IM sent 2d and 20h ago] http://www.elyrics.net/read/b/blue-october-lyrics/hate-me-lyrics.html

He's a guy, I'm a girl. Could anyone tell me possibly what he's trying to say to me by making me read those lyrics? Or what the point of sending those to me are? Thank you.

a little more info, we used to be best friends, but he changed a lot, and now we're always fighting, and barely friends.

I'm no expert on the kid, but my guess is that he wants to tell you that you're still important to him. The reason people send lyrics is it takes the heat off of coming up with your own way of saying things. You can take someone else's words and it still seems like an original thing. It's easier than talking face-to-face. Plus, it's harder to disappoint with a song. The gist of "hate me" by blue october is "I don't care if you still hate me; you made a difference"

(Rating: 5) Thank you, I don't hate him though, that's why I found it weird that he sent them to me. But do you think he's trying to tell me to hate him? Cause that's what I got from the song..
