I was just wondering...15/f...can hair dye ruin your hair? are there any products out there that aren't harmful to your hair? maybe something non-permanent..? (link)

any chemicals you use on your hair will make your hair weaker.
if you want to just lighten the colour of your hair, you can try Sun In (i'm not sure if i spelt it right)..but you can this to lighten your hair...it comes with instructions, just see if they have this hair lightning product. It is permanent but eventually as your hair grows it will move downer and your natural hair colour will start to show.
just to be on the safe side, talk to people at your local salon.
