Q: alright long story short. i met a guy who lives like 5 hrs away. i really fell for him.. he was my definition of the perfect guy. well he left for home a while ago came back n never called n was somewhat a jerk behind my back about me. i miss him a lot. i miss the guy i feel for the first time i met him.. now i wanna talk to him but he's short with me n seems like he doesnt wanna talk.. how can i make him miss me.. or realize that he's missing out. i dont want him back though.. i guess in the end how can i get over him?

Yeah there's really nothing you can do to make him miss you. Life just doesn't work that way...at least in the long run it doesn't. Getting over a guy can be hard, but it's important that you understand that feelings come and go. Plus, I think in your case you might have a slight advantage. You said that he's been acting like a jerk to you and about you. To me that shows a very bad character flaw. You deserve somebody better than that. If you can believe that you deserve better, I think you'll start missing him less as time goes on. Eventually, it'll get easier to not involve youself with him, and you'll be over him completely.

Hey! My name is Cassie and I'm 21 years old. I live in the suburbs of Chicago where I like to spend time with the important people in my life, play softball, and volunteer in my community. I am currently a junior in college. Throughout my years of schooling I have been involved in activities such as: volleyball, basketball, softball, theater, poms, choir, band, foreign language club, science team, and academic achievement programs. I am a Secondary Lutheran Education Biology Major with a minor in Spanish Education.
