Well, I got a pimple today and it's not like the usual pimples I have. It feels like a hard little rock and whenever I touch it, it hurts. Usually, I never get acne and when I do it's a VERY small pimple or a small break-out.

So basically, why does the pimple hurt when I touch it? And why isn't like the other pimples I have, small and soft?

I'm 15/f.
I started my period when I was 11, so I don't think it has anything to do with late puberty?

I have very clear skin but once in a great while I will get a pimple like the one your discribing. It can be from stress, or lack of washing, change in skin cremes, greesy foods. It could be your period is coming and that might have something to do with the change in your skin. Also different areas of the skin have harder pimples (gross but true) and that could have to do with it. It's natural to have it hurt while touching around it. It probably has a white cap on it. That is very senstive. The pimple is filled with fluid like puss (sorry I know this is gross) so it's probably sore when you touch it. It's going to be tempting to pick at it and touch it but it's best not to. If you pick it off then you with have a little divit almost like a little dip in your skin. And in order to remove that you have to have surgey, so bottom line don't pick it. But if you wash it daily and even do some sensitive skin facial scrubs it will help alot! Good luck! :)
