about

I specialize in problems dealing with mental health, seeing as I've got quite a few of those myself.
I took a break from advicenators, but I'm back and better than ever.
I have too much life experience for someone my age. Some people view that as bad. I don't really see anything wrong with it.
I'm practical and I'll tell you the truth straight up. So ask away lovelies, I'll be here all week. :]

Here's a link to the song "Breakaway" in which I'd want to play on acoustic guitar.
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/k/kelly_clarkson/breakaway_ver8_crd.htm
Those are the tabs and that page even offers to show me the chords, but I don't get what octave to play in. Can anyone clarify? I know it's not complicated, so I want to understand as soon as possible!
It looks like the song is in standard tuning. All of those chords can be played in the first position.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by what octave to play in. An octave is a consecutive set of eight notes, usually in a scale.
I would suggest finding a tab with more detail about the song. The one you have only shows the chords, not the strum patterns or any of the fancy stuff. Good luck and if you have any other questions, feel free to message me!
