Okay, I am a 15 year old girl and I like a 16 year old boy who is a year ahead of me in school. He is super sweet, smart, but a little shy. He talks to me and smiles during our class together and sometimes he even looks back at me when i am not even talking to him. However, even as this continues he rarely strikes up convorsations with me. Could he actually like me and just be to shy to talk to me, or am I delusional? Thankyou! (link)

Since he's willing to make some attempt at talking to you and he's showing some obvious interest by looking at you when you aren't expecting it,he more than likely is shy.
Just keep talking to him so that you can "crack his shell".Once it seems like you're both close to the same level of comfort with eachother,give him your number or something.From here you can see if he wants to hang out outside of school.
By the way,his being shy COULD be a sign that he really likes you.
