I want to shave down there but im afraid Ill mess it up. I have never shaved down there before but i do shave my legs. Any tips on shaving? Also if there was an alternative (other than waxing) I wouldn't mind finding out. Thank You (link)

When you shave, always shave in the direction that your hair grows. This will help prevent ingrown hairs. Always make sure you use a sharp blade. Also, if you wanted to "trim the hedges" a bit first, it wouldn't dull down your razor as much.

Edit: Trimming the hedges means to cut most of it off before shaving.
