I'm writing a story with a girl who has some conflicts that eventually grow into being a part of her life and all that she is aware of. It might turn into a love story between her, and her best friend Jake. Jamie (the main character) loses her friend David due to a drunk driving incident. I want the setting of this story to be in a small town somewhere in the United States, somewhere quiet with very little people. I've lived in big cities, (Saint Louis, Boston, Dallas) so I don't really know much about little cities. If anyone lives in a small town/city it would help me a great deal if you can tell me about your town. Maybe the surroundings, activities, sports, people, interests, crimes, anything of that sort. Thank you in advance and if you want to email me, my email is DenyThineName@hotmail.com to tell me more about your town
Westchester NY.
Its a rich town, alot of bomb threats and robberys, theres a buncha of celeberties here, everyone plays tennis and field hockey [including me]. Theres alot of trees, cyoties, lakes, pools, alot of water.
And yeah.. its a nice town.. worth more than a billion. Its small, like 500,000 people live here or something like that. Theres nice cars, like lamborginis and stuff like that. corvettes escalades mustangs everywhere. the schools are amazingly smart.
good luck
(Rating: 5) Thanks a lot, I might use that. This is how my story will start out as
What a girl wants: A friend, a friend that listens without trying to someone relate thsmelves to the situation because truth me told; you (a friend) cannot possibly just know what that girl is feeling. We all as humans have different thoughts and feelings. Let's say a girl loses a friend, she feels absolutely helpless and not to mention, guilty.
How can someone who hasn't lost a friend know how that girl is feeling? THAT'S RIGHT! NO ONE and I mean NO ONE can know how she feels.
" Jamie, are you coming?" calls out Jacob. Jamie, older than Jake, takes a quick hesitant look at her friend. She manages to choke out a falsely forced " Yeah, give me a minute. " Jamie takes one last look at the ground she once used to enjoy, that is with David anyway. Jamie runs after Jake and he looks at her.
" Are you alright" he says to her. She replies quickly to avoid raising suspicion, " Yeah, perfectly fine. " Jake, confused, but he laughs and says, " You look dead. " " Oh gee thanks, " was Jamie's reply. Jamie lived in the reserved undersized town of (town, state). The scenes were vibrant, full of color. Everyone knew everyone, but that's exactly what the problem was.
Jamie just wanted to be unoticed, unsupervised, and alone, for the rest of her life. Why you might ask? Well, let's just start with the beginning of a terrible ending.
