I'm a woman in Texas. I'm married and have a school-aged child. I have a medical background. I'm quite liberal, socially. I love helping people with medical, parenting, and social questions. Don't ask me about tech stuff or finances, because I need advice on those things myself!

I assume you're talking about appetite changes and lack of energy and possibly changes in sleep pattern. You should see a doctor to make sure you don't have a thyroid problem. Then, if you have eating changes or sleeping changes, address those issues. Learning stress-reduction techniques will likely benefit anyone. Exercise has also been proven to help with many of the symptoms of depression.
Take care.
