Okay is the 2468 diet bad? I was thinkin about doing it.

Going on a diet causes your body to burn up the muscle as well as fat.
Going on a diet also slows down your metabolism, so when you stop your diet, you'll gain all the weight that you lost back. Therefore, if you achieve the weight you wanted, you need to maintain your diet. If your diet involves not eating carbs, you won't have the energy to perform well at doing stuff(varying from school, sports, etc..) So basically, if you achieve the weight you wanted through a diet, and the diet involves a lack of carbs, which your diet probably does because of it's low calorie count, and you don't want to gain the weight back so you have to maintain your diet, you basically just screwed yourself.
Diets are horribly unhealthy and competely ruins your metabolism, in some extreme cases, your body ends up eating it's own brain for nutrients. Exercise and eat healthy if you want to lose weight.

Why dont they work? Okay over winter break i didnt eat at all. Yes a two week fast and i lost 17 pounds. I dont kno but they seem to work for me.
