im really confused is a 4.0 like perfect gpa and then 5.0 if you are taking honors or is 5.0 perfect and 6.0 is if you are taking honors?
or does it depend on the school?

a 4.0 is the highest GPA you can get. only grades count, not what classes you're taking. if you have a 5.0, there was a typo on your transcript, because that's impossible.
