advice
Okay, so my boyfriend has a little cousin and she is veryyy large. She turned 5 in the beginning of February (Feb 2nd, ironically enough Groundhogs day haha.) and weighs around 110. We are both very close to her, and care for her alot.. but her weight is downright unhealthy and I just wish there was something more we can do. Her parents seem to be unphased by her weight and just don't really acknowledge it. This obesity runs in their family and so does Diabetes. (Lucky for me, my boyfriend doesn't have either) But we just don't know what to do with her.. take her running? Haha I really am at a loss. Any feedback would be FANTASTIC!! Thanks!! ♥
The last thing you want to do is hurt her family or make the child upset - she weighs more than me!(i think)
Sooo to make a difference, take her out swimming each week...and after woulds buy her flavoured water a healthy lunch and fruit...talk to her about daily life ands stuff and if you two spend time togther - she'll like you as a sister and look up to you as a role model so if she sees you eating healthily, she will too.
(Rating: 5) she weighs about 15 more pounds than me too lol.. and i'm 16.. well i live about a half hour away and don't drive, so that'd be kinda difficult.. and she does look to me like a sister already.. so thanks alot =) i'll try the me eating healthy thing ♥
