heyy everyone. My names Deanna, but everyone calls me dee =].I'm 13 years old, but im pretty mature for my age. A lot of people come to me at school and confide in me with huge secrets, and i never tell anyone. Tons of people also ask for advice, and i help alot of people out with their problems. I really want to help people, as I want to be a child psycologist when i'm older. So, giving simple advice to teens like me would probably help =]. okay, i never had a boyfriend before up until last week. he's coming over sometime in the next few days. i think we're watching a movie but anyways. there's a few problems.

1. my dad doesn't like the fact that i'm dating guys and he'll probably say no. how can i convince him to get to know him? my boyfriend is probably one of the sweetest guys in the world..i just don't know how to get my dad too give it a chance.
2. how can i make this night, not so boring? like, i've never been kissed before or anything, and i don't know what he's expecting of me. so we watch a movie, and then what? board games?
3. does everyone feel so insecure when they start dating? or is just me?

please help.

Thats what i felt lik a few months ago! I got my first real boyfriend and my dad really didnt like me dating him. But, at the time i had no cell so he had to call my house and my dad would answer. He was very polite and made general conversation such as, how are you? and then kindly asked to speak with me. So have him try that and it may win your dad over.

Don't be in a rush to kiss him. After you watch the movie, put on some music and just hang out like you would do with your friends, but like different. You guys will start to talk and im sure you'll have a good time. If you're still insecure about it. For the first couple of times ask your friends(boys and girls) to come over, and it will weaken the stress. But, after a while you two will be totally comftorable with eachother.

Of course everyone feels insecure, it mite be a tad awkward at first, as it is for a lot of people, but don't worry time will pass and you guys will be totally comftorable with eachother.
