I joined this site when I was very young (hence the ridiculous username) but now I feel I'mn old enough to give out advice.

Ask me anytime. I have had my fair shares of family issues, as well as good at solving relationship problems.

My Daughter is 11 and she tells me shes old anough to babysit but i dont know if she should. I started babysitting when i was 11 but i want to make sure its a good age. Please help!

Lets put it this way

-do you trust her
- has she done things wrong in the past
-is she good at school
- can she take care of herself
-is she reliable

This is something she wants.To prove to you she can do it whilst gaining independence, answer these questions above if your answer goes like this

then she'll be fine, if its not reconsider.

BUT, the thing is , she might feel reallt afraid alone - she might say oh no I wont be scared but when it comes to it you can be.Its a hugh responsobiltie and whos fault will it be if something goes wrong?She's only 11, and i think if she were that might bit older then it would be acceptable.
