So my cat won't eat her wetfood. She eats her dry food perfectly fine, and I have tried every suggestion my Vet told me, but nothing worked. Yet I heard (from a friend) that if cats don't eat their wetfood they'll die or something? I do find it somewhat ridiculous but it worries me. Is that true? If so, what can I do? If not, any suggestions to help my cat eat her food?

thanks

Ok. either your friend is Psycho or extremely gullible. Wet food is not essential to your cat's diet. Usually wet food is just something extra, something different tasting, like a treat almost.
Its possible that your pet just doesn't like the texture of the food. Judging by the fact that your cat eats dry food fine, then I'd say that She just doesn't like the texture of the food. I wouldn't worry about it. Cats are by nature extremely picky eaters.

If you really want to try. Try not giving it to her for a week or so. Just dry food no wet. Then open a can and see if she'll take it.
