Okay... I have this friend that I've liked for a really long time. I'm so close to just saying "I like you more than just a friend" but I can't seem to find a time to just say it. I have to find a way for her to bring it up, or else I won't say it. I know, it's bad, but I can't do it. If she would somehow bring it up if I like her or not, then I would say I do like her... Any ideas?? (link)

dating a close friend can definitly ruin things between you two. if you really care about her and dont want to loose her, dating might not be the best thing. but if you really want a way to bring it up, ask her maybe who she is crushing on at the moment, or maybe talk about what her views on realtionships are..if you try these things and she doesnt hint at anything more between the two of you, maybe you should leave it alone because i know i wouldnt want to loose my bestfriend.
well from what you told me, it seems like shes interested. i think that you should tell her how you feel and bring up that convorsation again. it seems to me, by what she said, she is hinting at something between you two

The thing is, I've liked her for about 2 years or so. It has never worn off. I know she used to like me at one point, I'm not sure about now though.
Well, a few nights ago, we somehow got into a conversation on AIM about what would happen if we ever fell in love. It was like this:
Me: Can you see us falling in love?
Her: You answer first.
Me: No...
Her: I can/can't see it. Tell me how you can't see it.
Me: I don't know...How can you can/can't see it?
Her: I don't know.
(A long time passes and no one says anything.)
Me: Well, that was awkward.
Her: Well, it's not like we feel that way toward each other, right?
Me: ...Yeah... right...
Her: You kinda sound like you're lying.
Me: Nu uh...
Me: ....
Her: What is it?
Me: I don't know...
That was what happend.
