advice
I'm 22/F.. I've always been thin, and a slow-eater. I have never been mindful of my weight or body image. I eat what I want, trying to have good nutrition, of course, but never skip on anything I might crave, like chocolate or ice cream.. I'm 5'6 and weigh about 117 (the last time I checked). This is considered normal for my body type, but i could afford to gain a few pounds. I know a lot of women want the opposite, but not me. Is there anyone who knows how I can gain a couple extra pounds/build more muscle while staying healthy? I do yoga fairly regularly and try to maintain a good diet, though it's sometimes difficult since I'm a student. Thanks!
its better to gain pounds with muscle than fat. you should maybe start running or do a few crunches and get some muscle. Push ups will get you muscle on your arms. I also recommend squats . 20 per day =]Muscle weighs more than fat so gaining a little more muscle is the same as gaining a lot of fat in your body. hope i helped! Also eating a little more snacks will help you gain some weight. =]good luck
(Rating: 5) Thanks, I was thinking of building more muscle and increasing meal portions by a bit. Of course it's most important to be healthy, but I wouldn't mind gaining a few pounds in muscle.
