Hi guys... I got this really old rolex from the 1960's which belonged to my grandpa, he died to years back, so i thought i would get it repaired and have it as a memory. Yesterday, i went to this shop to know if i could get it repaired they asked for $400-$600 depending on the work, which i really cannot afford but i really want to have it done. what could b done? I would never wanna sell it for the world... (link)

I would look around at different stores- go to a little stand in a mall. If you can't find anything cheaper you can just keep that way- it will be worth lots some day, no matter if it's working or not. You could ask for a loan from the bank or you parents, and you could see if the store would do a payment plan (like a car sorta).
