I'm kinda new at this kind of thing, but here goes.

I enjoy swimming, wrestling, rollerblading, hanging with my friends and boyfriend, now of 2 years. I do not agree with the media and do not follow style, i think it's just stupid.

When I give people advice, i'm usually speaking from my past experiances, if not, i'm just trying to wrack my brain for an answer to your problem.

I have only found one ture friend in my life but have many close friends as well. I'm basically the strong silent type. I hate lables and would wipe them from this earth if it were possible.

My parents are divorced so i know what it is like to have familly problems (and lots of em' belive me) as well.

I love my dad, and he's like the only family i have near me (besides my friends). My mom died when i was 6 && my brother is away at college. Whenever we go out to eat my dad and I have nothing to talk about, only when he yells at me. When my brother comes they always talk, and always leave me out. I told him once and he's like "I just never talk to him anymore." They talk on the phone more than once a day- more than he ever talks to me. My dad always excludes me && my brother tries to include me.. what should i do?

well first of all, your dad should not be egnoring you. i suggest maybe writing him a letter telling him how you feel. parents tend to pay more attention if there kid sends them a letter. as for thing to talk about, ask him about his childhood or when he was your age. you could also ask him about your mom, i know i sure would. and just to spend more time with your dad, you could also suggest to him that the two of you (and only the two of you unless you want to include your brother when he is home from collage) take up a sport.

hope that helps,

alyssa
