Like I said, even still, you honestly really can't tell, but that must mean something if he kept staring just at you. Try & flirt and do what you've been doing and good luck! :] ]
You honestly can't tell in this kind of situation. Sure, whenever people like other people, they'll be caught staring at them or glancing at them, but if you were just standing up to talk to the teacher, he honestly could've just been looking at you. Kind of like how whenever someone enters the classroom and it's all quite, everyone seems to sychronizingly look up at the person in the door all at the same time? It's kind of just what people do. They watch other people.
So I really can't tell you if he likes you or not. What I would do is just try talking to him more if you don't already talk to him ; make conversation then and get to know him and see if any feelings develop that way and if he sends you any signals. That's the only real way you're going to know how he feels.

in the class there were more people standing up than just me. i am tring to talk to him the other day there was a sub and i went and sat next to him so i am tring. but the bad thin is that im not out to like everyone but ill try to flurt with him so he knows i like him
