Just put your advice column on your myspace, profile, away message, wherever you can so that people can see it and whenever they feel they have a question, they can come to you.
I used to have a well-known account on this site, and it was because I just answered as many questions as I could, and if the people rated me highly, I would be listed on the top-rated columnists and I got more people asking questions.
Also, if you've answered their question very well and they like you, you can also be added as their favorite columnist so whenever they have a problem, they can go directly to your page and ask, and they may also start to tell their friends.
It just really depends how well you answer your questions and if they person likes you and everything, and also how well you get your advice column out there to people.
