I cannot seem to get 'close' to guys. I never have been able to, I've always been much closer to girls and all of my close freinds are girls. I never found that too odd before as I thought it was fairly normal. That is, until I realized that 'normal' teenage girls are spposed to be boy-crazy or something. I never have been.
However, all of my major crushed (except for one) have been on guys. I've always liked guys, and always thought that I would be with a guy. That is, until recently. One of my close freinds is bi--possibly a lesbian, and I've started to like her a bit. I can't tell though if my head is just tricking itself or...or what. I'm just really confused.
She's always been open and I've never had a problem with that. She's very nice, funny, and sweet. I do have a boyfreind right now though. We never talk about much...it's always awkward, and I don't really like him so much anymore. I haven't dated much in the past so I don't have a lot to compare it to. I would like to be sure though, and I would like to know your opinion on this to help me reassure myself and straighten my thoughts. =) Any advice would be appriciated.
All teenagers question themselves about this. It is very normal to wonder what you are. You probably wont be able to answer it until youre in your 20s. But, its not anything abnormal. Alll teenagers are going thru this, or will go thru this. Try and date more guys and see what happens. Just ask yourself if you can see yourself in a relationship with a girl, and ask yourself if you could picture yourself messing around with a girl. Sooner or later it will all come to you.
