Today I randomly started going through my elementary school memories and I thought about how there was never anything to worry about and how it was really peaceful and joyful. The memories I have are so detailed that I just started crying. I miss not ever worrying about anything and not ever having a reason to be sad. I'm only 16 and I already long to be young again. What do I do? (link)

I think we all have had our days when we look back and see how bright and wonderful our early childhood was. The fact of life though is that we all mature and become more aware of what actually goes on in society. But think of all the amazing benefits of maturity. You're sixteen so soon you'll have your license and maybe a car. This means more independence than when you were just a kid. Life goes on but if you focus on the past, you'll miss out on the future. Leave the past and venture forth. Live life to its fullest because you only get this chance once!
Hope I helped!
