My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time
I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that
and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes
especially with parent child relationships
I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age
and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)
My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down
advice
i'm a junior and i am seriously SO confused about colleges. thinking about colleges stresses me out because of the long process that i have no idea what to do! so i just have a couple of questions. say i go to a university--the university has colleges in it..i guess they have different schools for different subjects? so say i go to the art and science college at this university--would that be my major??? what is a major/minor?? how do you send a college application and what's this about an essay and resume?? i'm SOOOO confused. can someone please help me??
well i am in the same boat as you i am a 16/f who is going to be a junior but i have looked around at colleges a bit and here is what i know
1. Your minor and major are more specific the arts and science they are like Fine arts and Bio. engineering for example.
2. The essay should be self explanitory. Have you seen and Application? if not i would suggest geting one and filling it out just for practice
3. You can only graduate from 1 college, but most colleges allow you to take just a few classes at their college without graduating from there. Like say your college of choice doesn't offer painting classes you can take it at another school for credits
4. and your sat/act score depends on the school. I know to go to honors college or be in the honors program at most schools you need around a 1300 out of 1600 (well it is really out of 2400 but majority of school DO NOT look at the writing section.. if you need explination on that i would be happy to tell you why)
5 Most school want you to apply by the beginning of school your senior you but you have to look at the schools specific website for deadline detains. its better to apply early than late because the earlier you apply the better dorms you get and what not because its mostly first come first serve
