Heyy my names Julianne but a lot of people call me Jules. I'm almost 18 and a senior in high school. I made a column because I love helping people and its really easy for me to relate to a lot of questions because I've gone through a lot myself. A girl I know, but I'm not really good friends with, is having a pool party. She invited 3 boys, and I don't know any of them. I wouldn't care if they were there if it was just a regular party, and I have a boyfriend, so I'm not worried about any of that dating stuff. What I'm worried about is, that I hate how I look in my bikini. It's the only bathign suit I have, and I don't really want guys to see me in it. Especially when half the girls at the party, are anorexic bitches. I think it'd be rude if I didn't go, and I don't know what to do.

youre not alone in this situation. a lot of girls feel uncomfortable in a bathing suit in front of people.. especially guys. we all have things were selfconscious about..but the trick is to not let anyone know youre self conscious. youre beautiful. and you have a boyfriend already so it doesnt matter what anyone thinks of you. go to the party and just be yourself and have fun and dont even think about how you look because if you dont pay attention to it.. nobody else will. theyll be jealous of how outgoing and confident you are :-) good luck and just be yourself.
