About me
I'm a 21 year old guy who has three years of college under his belt but is currently taking some time off too 're-evaluate' my situation. Honestly not having a school schedule or a real job is causing depression and havoc in my life, i need a stuctured daily plan so i'm not aimlessly do nothing.
Ok, enough of that, i know a little bit about everything. Ask me pretty much any kind of question(except maybe girls, my love life isnt the most perfect but whos is) and i can give you and an answer, my advice, or a place you can get your answers from. Heck if you really want you can ask a question about me instead of advice i dont really care.
Things i know quite a bit about
- Plants and gardenting
- computers/internet
- sports: traditional and others ie. snowboarding
- cars
- drugs ie. dangers/effects/what something is
- anything else, i'm pretty well rounded

I want to plant nice flowers in my backyard does anyone know some mystical flowers i can plant im really spirtual and plant like. (link)

mandevilla's are plants with beautiful flowers, vine, and grow quickly. They are an annual for most people in the nation, but you can bring them inside in the winter as long as they have 4-5 hour of bright sunlight during the day ie. south facing window. Wave petunia's grow incredible fast and bloom profusely throughout the summer and into fall. I'm not sure what mystical means if thats like pot or something. If thats what you mean by 'mystical' you can get peyote cactus starts and make your own patch of cactus in your house.

what would you recomend growing (as far as fruit bearing shrubs) in a colder environment like colorado? i am an avid strawberry grower, and there is the distinct possibility of being stationed at Fort Carson (army base), should i use a honeyoye variant or an ozark beauty variant?
do you know if there are any indigenous varities that would be more survivable? and a second, what king of herbs would you recomend growing in a windowsill? i was thinking mint, basil, and some cilantro. would rosemary do well?
-Gunner J. Hitler
p.s.- i love the honeyoye variety for its full red color, creamy texture, and excellent flavor, whats your favorite berry? i could ship you a plant if you would like, as my brother still has some of my original strain in massachusetts.

Sorry for the belated response, took me some time to track down info on Colorado suitable varieties as i'm from Minnesota, i hope this helps.
Recommended June bearers (one crop) for this area are Guardian, Kent Honeoye, Rechief, Delite and Bloomiden.
Everbearing strawberries typically have two main bearing Crops each year, with small amounts of fruit produced between the main crop in June and a lighter crop in late summer or early fall. For Colorado, everbearing strawberries are recommended for the home Gardener because they tend to be more hardy. If a late spring frost kills the first flowers, you will still get a crop in late summer or fall. Some of the more common everbearing varieties are Ogallala, Fort Laramie and Ozark Beauty. Ogallala and Fort Laramie are recommended for Colorado because they are more hardy.
Day neutral varieties are similar to everbearers, but flower and fruit more consistently over the summer. Recommended day neutral varieties include Tribute, Tristar and Fern.
P.S.- Since you you say your and avid grower i wont add any grow instructions, care, etc.
Oop, almost forgot. The herbs. Mint is very hardy as well as Thyme, oregano, and yes rosemary should thrive as well.
I found this website that will help you with any other fruits for growing in colorado i hope.

i have a homework assignment...and its to create and draw a political cartoon...im have no idea on what i should draw!...any suggestions? (link)
|
well i got this idea from a similar cartoon, i'm assumming your fairly old so hopefully you know the circumstances of what i'm about to talk about. There was a recent school shooting in my home state of MN i didnt here president bush say one thing until easter day about it, on the other hand he and many others have been up in arms about Terry Shivo(its a personal ordeal in my opinion). Maybe some sort of cartoon about his and many others silence on the shootings but not about Shivo.

Whats a disk defragmenter? My computer is very slow and my cousin suggested that I use the disk defragmenter and I've tired, but it doesn't seem to be working, I'm not even sure how it works. Can anyone explain this for me? Thank You. (link)
|
While a disk defragmenter does every thing the fine advisors above said, a generally slow computer is most likely the result of not enough memory, or to many programs using all of your available memory. Removing any programs that run on startup that you dont use could help, these are the little icons on the lower right of your windows computer by the clock. Always remember to remove programs by going though the windows control panel not just deleting them. Hope this helps speed up your computer.
