Q: k i got this friend we been friends since school. Then a found out she lied to me about tons of stuff. During summer break she calls me to tell me she was sorry. We are friends kinda. Do you think I made a mistake by taking her out.
i don't truly believe in what the person below me said "once a liar, always a liar." this may be true in some cases, but if she is genuinely sorry she probably changed. everyone makes mistakes, and i believe in second chances if they're sorry. i know it may be hard to forgive because it was "tons of stuff". it really depends on what the stuff is. anyway, that wasn't your question so sorry for rambling :] no, i dont believe you made a mistake by taking her out. you have to confront your friend when stuff like that happens & its their part to try and make it better by apologizing. as long as you did in a calm & mature way, it wasn't a mistake. how would you ever be able to grow in a friendship if you didn't recognize each other's mistakes and try and fix them? she may have never changed if you hadn't talked to her about it.

thanks
