Hey everybody! I'm Karie. I'm a fifteen year-old chick who loves meeting people. I have a broad perspective in life and I am a very understanding person. People who are close to me or just plain people who know me seek me for advice because they know that I can handle things pretty well.

Don't hesitate to ask me about anything because I'm here to listen, understand, and give some sound advice.

MWAAAAH!

p.s.
please do not forget to rate my advice! i'd really appreciate it! ;)

Hey all. Well, I'm 14/f and I'm going to an all-girl Physics camp this Monday. I was wondering how to introduce myself, start up a conversation, and make friends with other people because I don't know them and I don't want it to seem weird and creepy. I'm known as being friendly, and I want to keep that title. Also, I'm about to enter high school next month, and I would like to use these tips for that as well. I would also really appreciate it if you guys could give me topics to talk about because I don't like awkward silence. Thanks a bunch! (link)
First of All: SMILE. Smiling gives other people the impression that you are approachable.

Then strike up a conversation and remember to keep it CASUAL. And stay calm! Don't overwhelm yourself with fears that the other person will not like you. If they see you know what you're talking about, they'll think you're cool.

Also, use the right body language. Show eagerness when listening. Look straight into the eyes of the person you're talking to and nod every once in a while.

Of course, Look Neat and Presentable. Those well-practiced smiles won't get you aywhere if your hair is disheveled and your breath is skanky!

Hope I helped you a lil' bit!

Thanks! A little bit?! That was great help and I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Thank-you again! You get special praise for being the first to answer. :)
