i heard that lemons can help make ur hair lighter...does that really work?
and if it does, what do u do with the lemons?
they say to squeeze a lemon straight on your hair, and sit in the sun- but this technique can give you real bad results. the best way to do it is to take a lemon or two and squeeze as much juice out of them as possible into a spray bottle. add about a 5th of that amount with water. make sure your hair is clean, so the spray can penetrate the folicles.(if its greasy, it wont absorb into the hair). after spraying the desired amount of the spray onto your hair- you sit out in the sun(might as well work on your tan AND your hair at the same time!) or you can spray it on if youre going to be out allday. it even works if your hair's in a ponytail. another option is peroxide. you can spray it on your hair before you go out for the day. every day for a week will give you a beachy look. thats what i used to use once a month in the summer. the only down side to it is that you have to have somewhat light brown hair to use peroxide. if you have dark hair- it will more than likely turn out orange. another option is to buy "sun-in". i bought some at walgreens. you dont even have to sit out in the sun for that. you spray it on, and use the blowdryer to activate it. really hope i helped. let me know which one you picked! spitfire9631@yahoo.com
