I'm going to my best friends bat mitzpa. I'm wearing a black dress with a black purse, black open toed shoes, and possibly a little black makeup. Should I wear black stockings? I'm African-American and 5'5. If this helps at all, I have a scar pale scar on my foot, nice toenails, and im not dark at all- im a little darker than chocolate milk but lighter than milk chocolate.
Dont wear the stockings because than theres too much black. Including the black make-up. As soon as you start to dance, you will wind up taking off your shoes, put socks on if she has them and if you want to bring them and dance like that. Also, dont over due the black with the stockings. DONT WEAR THEM. and go lightly on the black makeup and try to use a different color over the eyes.

ehh, i didnt ask about the makeup. trust me i know what im talking about! My eyelashes are black so every other color would look so freaky.
