hi! i've started getting my haircut at a pretty upscale place, and now instead of the hair stylist washing my hair, there is an assistant that does it. am i supposed to tip her, and if yes, then how much? the hair cut is $35! thanks!! :) _(link)

About five dollars seems appropriate. That's around fifteen percent, which is the average amount you tip waitstaff at restaurants.
