What is anemia? My friend said that when you get it you have it for the rest of your life or something? Is that true? What happens when you get it? Ill rate 5s.

my moms enimic(sp?) it has something to do with the blood not having enough iron in it. Usually you are born with it, like my mom was. It can be passed down from generation to generation, becuase my mom was sick while giving birth to my baby brother and now he has a blood disorder. You do have it for the rest of oyur life. Its not extremly life-threatening though. You can feel weak a lot and often need a bit of sugar to help boost your energy. Thats what happens to my mom. You just have to take iron supplements and you wont even realize you have it. hope i helped! ♥dAnieLLe
