I have a new hamster. When she is on her wheel, it is really loud. It is keeping everyone up and I was wondering if there was anything I can do. I am going to try to find a different wheel, but I am not sure if there are any quiet ones out there. Does anyone know what I can do for right now, until I can find a new wheel?
Thanks! (link)

Oh I know!
Vegetable Oil. Put it where the wheel meets the stand. DO NOT use any other oil besides the kinds we use for food (vegetable oil, olive oil) because anything else could be toxic to your hamster.
And then there are those plastic wheels that don't have to be oiled every other week. This kind that I found also prevents your rodent from getting stuck between the bars: http://www.shop.com/op/~Super_Pet_Silent_Spinner_Regular-prod-14819326-21385446?sourceid=298
Check your local pet store. :)

The silent spinner was the one I found! Unfortunately they were out of the size I needed. But thank you! I will keep looking. The only problem is that it is a plastic wheel. The whole oil thing isn't going to help.
