does anyone know of any good ways to get better at sight reading? i'm really bad at playing runs [going up or down a scale]. i think it might be because i can't read music as fast as its supposed to be played. does anyone have any advice. thanks (link)

Buy and etude book and just read through it. When you run out, turn it upside down and read it that way. It seriously makes you so much better. The best thing you can do is practice.
