I have a 2 GB Nano Ipod, and I've been uploading music from CDs onto it. My problem is, that I only have about 49 songs on it and it's almost full! Why is this? Also, if you upload a song from a CD, does it take up more space than a song you upload from, say, Itunes? Thanks! (link)

Yes, uploading songs from CD's takes up more space than a song uploaded from iTunes. mp3's downloaded off the internet also take up more space.
I figure that the creators of ipods did this on purpose so that people would have more reason to purchase iTunes.
