What's the rule of thumb for keeping oscars in a tank? Like.. how many gallons per oscar should you have for your aquarium.

Secondly, do they go well with red parrot cichlids? _(link)

Rule is every inch of fish is a gallon. So if u have 4 fish at 4" then u need a 16 gallon tank. And they should go fine with any other medium agressive fish.

Recheck your information! A 7" fish can NOT live in a 7 gallon aquarium!
