my hair is a about mid-back, and i need to get it cut. my current style is side-bangs. does anyone have any cute ideas that will allow me to keep my hair with the side-bangs, but yet cut it shorter? pictures would help also.

I'm not sure how short you were looking to go, but how bout a Reese Witherspoon look like from Sweet Home Alabama?

it's got the side bangs and everything. It might seem a little scary but I think it's super cute and if you think you can pull it off you should! I think it's absolutely adorable and it makes a statement since most people don't have short hair...and if they do it's not always cute. But this, is definitely cute.

You can do like an Ashlee Simpson:

If you want a less angled-choppy look, do it like Julia Styles and throw in some side bangs:
