Heyy, im homescooled but about 2 or 3 months ago my parents promised they would let me go to public school..its been 2 or 3 months and, you guessed it, im still homeschooled. I wouldnt care THAT much but ive told absolutely EVERYONE in my town that im going so they all think that im going in the third quarter (even though im homeschooled alot of people know me) I dont want them to think im a liar or anything so how the hell can I persuade my parents to let me go?!
well, if you are homeschooled it is pretty hard to have a social life. im not saying you dont have one, cuz you may. let them know that you need to get out there and be with peers and go to school with People, not just by yourself. i know someone who has been homeschooled for like their whole life and they wish they had gone to public school so they can communicate and talk with people and have some fun. im not saying you dont, its just when you are young, you need to get out there and be with your friends. so, tell them that and maybe it will help. :)
