i heard about people called card counters and how its an actual job where people go to casinos and count cards? i dont get what they do. count cards for what? and how do they count them? (link)

They count the cards for the probabilities and to find out how many cards are left in the deck of a certian suit. They do it in games like blackjack so they know what the next card is going to be.
