Q: I need help... I have really suicidal times... and tonight was the worse... I almost slit my throat... my girlfriend didnt seem to care... she says she loves me but she wouldnt talk to me and kept ignoring me and making it worse... i tried to tell her i needed her but she rushed me off and hung up... what should i do...

Hmm.. I'm not saying what she did was justified, but some people don't know how to deal with things like that. She probably didn't want to say the wrong thing. Still, I agree that she should be there for you no matter what. I'm just trying to see it from her perspective.
If your girlfriend doesn't seem to be helping, tell someone else. I'm sure you have other friends. You could tell your parents as well, but if you don't feel comfortable with this, tell another trusted adult. Or alternatively talk to a counsellor. People are trained to deal with this type of thing.
I don't know what you're going through, but put it into perspective. Is it going to matter in a month's time, a years time? Is it worth throwing your entire life away? No matter what it is, the answer is no. There's always an alternative to suicide, turn your life around, get certain people out of your life.
