ok well i had my period.. 2nd time now.. and i dont know.. like how many times a day should i change my pad/ tampond?? or like my mom never had the talk with me so idk what to expect (link)

Ok well if you wear a pad it sais to change it aver 4 hours...it really depend son how heavy your flow is...you can usually go longer but you should definitly change it eveyr 8 hours..but you can wera one when your sleeping and not worry about it. if your wearing a tampon change every 4 to 8 hours...because if you leave those in too long it can get uncomfortable, you could leak, and there's the chance of TSS which is a really rare disease but its deadly...dont worry it very unlikely to happen! Since you never talked to your mom..i recomend you sleep with pads to you know clear out the system down there but tampons in the day.
